‘The students had a great time with these workshops and it has really made a positive impact on how they view their own practices and the importance of stepping outside of our comfort zones. Thank you so much.’
- Art teacher, Astor Secondary School
As part of UCA's Outreach offer, students and young people have the opportunity to take part in a range of workshops covering different disciplines. Timings for these workshops are flexible, and they can be tailored to your timetable and curriculum. All materials are provided. Workshops can be delivered in school/college/community organisations, online or at a UCA campus.
All workshops are delivered by our specialist creative tutors and supported by student ambassadors, and where possible, include a Creative Careers talk. Creative workshops give young people the opportunity to enhance their portfolio, develop creative thinking and skills, and explore disciplines in greater depth.
Please note, the workshops are dependent on tutor availability and we cannot guarantee we will be able to fulfil your request.

If you’re unsure whether your students or young people are eligible to take part in any of the activities offered as part of UCA’s outreach offer, please get in touch and we will be happy to support you and answer any questions.
Please note some of the activities offered by UCA are funded through the University’s involvement in the KaMCOP UniConnect programme and therefore must be attended by a high number of target learners. When booking or requesting an activity, we may get in touch to discuss the number of KaMCOP ward learners within the proposed group. Where this is the case, numbers need to be agreed in advance in order to book an activity.
