If you've seen an undergraduate degree course you'd like to study here with us at UCA, then here's all the information you need on how to apply and the application process.
If you live in the UK, you should apply through the University and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). You can apply online through the UCAS website.
When applying for our courses, use our institution code - C93.
If you’re from outside the UK, visit our international applications page.
You can submit your UCAS application, from mid-September, the year before your course begins.
The UCAS equal consideration deadline for applications for courses starting in September is normally the last Wednesday in January. We give equal consideration to all applications we receive by this deadline. But, if we still have places available after this date, we'll consider late applications, too.
If you’re from outside the UK, visit our international applications page.
Clearing 2024
We still have places available on all courses for September 2024. You can apply now (via UCAS or directly via our course pages) if you have you results, or you can wait until Clearing opens on 5 July and apply via our Clearing webform or phone number. If you don’t have your results you can pre-register and we’ll call you back on results day.
If you apply through UCAS, they’ll acknowledge your application and forward it to us. You can track the progress of your application through UCAS Track.
When we get your application (directly, or via UCAS), we’ll send you an email with your login details for the applicant portal. This is where you’ll access all the information you’ll need through your applicant journey.
If you’re based in the UK, we will then invite you to an in-person portfolio review at an Applicant Day, where you’ll have the chance to get to know your peers, view student work, and gain all the information you need and want about life at UCA.
If you’re located outside of the UK, or if you would prefer not to attend an Applicant Day, you will be able to submit your portfolio digitally. Your portfolio review is an opportunity for you to show us your talents and potential – full advice on how to put together your portfolio can be found here.
We’ll send you details on these events through the applicant portal.
UCAS makes background information available to us when they send us your application – this is called contextual data. We will not use this information when making a decision about whether or not to offer you a place at UCA.
