About the course

Across four practical evenings, you'll learn how to control water and pigment, mix colours and experiment with washes, layering, mark-making, texture and detail.

Through a mixture of guided exercises and creative experimentation, you'll try different approaches before developing your own paintings with support and guidance from your tutor.

The course is suitable for complete beginners as well as anyone who has painted before and would like to refresh their skills, experiment with new techniques or make more time for their creativity.

You'll leave with: a collection of original watercolour studies and finished paintings created throughout the course.
