About the course

Across four practical evenings, you'll be introduced to the tools, materials and techniques used to safely work with molten glass. You'll learn how glass is gathered, heated, coloured and shaped before progressing to introductory glassblowing techniques.

With expert guidance throughout, you'll experiment with form, colour and surface while gradually building your confidence working with this unique material.

No previous glassworking experience is required.

You'll leave with: a small collection of your own handmade glass pieces.*

*Glass needs to cool gradually in an annealing kiln, so finished pieces may need to be collected from UCA after the course.
