UCA rises up the ranks
University Guides 2022
The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) has risen to 32nd place in The Guardian University Guide and 69th in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, putting it among the best-performing universities in the UK.

On top of that, UCA is celebrating being ranked in three of The Guardian’s Top 10 subject league tables for Business Management & Marketing, Journalism, Publishing and PR, and Architecture. In Journalism, Publishing and PR, UCA has risen six places to rank 5th in the league table, while its Architecture school has returned to a top ten ranking, rising to 7th place – the fourth time they've made it into the top ten since 2016.
UCA also finds itself among the Top 10 Universities in South East according to The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide as well as being ranked 38th place for teaching quality. In Architecture alone, UCA scored 91% for teaching quality and topped the table for Communication and Media – scoring 91.9%.
UCA’s President and Vice-Chancellor Bashir Makhoul said: “We are delighted with these gains across two league tables, as they are a direct result of our tireless work supporting the attainment and experience of our students. The pandemic has shown how creative and resilient our community can be, and as we return to face-to-face learning we will continue to build on everything we’ve learned.”
