University for the Creative Arts is proud to present A Trip into the Ludic by recent graduate, Ramlah Wraich. The exhibition brings together Wraich’s acclaimed and innovative fashion collection, which derives its inspiration from a wide range of cultural sources, from furniture design and the sacco to the contemporary art of Marta Minujin and Ernesto Neto. Alluring and playful, Wraich’s brightly coloured striped outfits, form the basis of a ‘beanbag’ inspired collection, which are a fusion of fashion, accessorization and multi-functionality and suggest that clothes are not only to be worn but can also possess a more spatial and emotional dimension.
