Whether you're studying acting, theatre design or music production, you’ll train in professional-standard studios and have access to a wide-range of workshops with industry-standard equipment. You’ll also have the chance to showcase your work at public venues such as Farnham Maltings, and even in London’s West End, gaining real-world experience in front of live audiences.
From local connections, such as Farnham Maltings and UCA degrees taught at Maidstone TV Studios, to our exciting collaborations with partners including the National Theatre, our degrees in acting, theatre design and sound production give you direct access to the industry. Through behind-the-scenes tours and masterclasses, you'll learn from the professionals shaping the stage and screen today.
Whether you're pursuing theatre, music or performance design, your degree will allow you to collaborate with other students across film, animation and fashion on projects that pull on specialisms from across the creative industries. You'll take on industry briefs and can event explore your specialism through an optional year-long work placement, meaning you'll graduate with practical skills and professional confidence.
Our performing arts degrees offer the option of an integrated foundation year, providing an alternative pathway to university study for students who may not meet the standard entry requirements.
