Dr Mimi He is the Post Doctoral Teaching Fellow for the University for the Creative Arts International College (UCAIC). She is responsible for the short course design, and development.
Bio
Mimi joined International College (UCAIC), University for the Creative Arts (UCA) in October 2023. Mimi has more than 10 years of work experience in international higher education. Mimi has several projects covering government cooperation (provincial teacher training), school-enterprise cooperation, joint venture programs, and curriculum design and development for different subjects and levels, from A-level to master level.
Mimi's research interests comprise curriculum design and development, graduate employability, and creative industry development. Mimi holds a PhD in Graduates' employability in the creative industry; and a Master of Art in Costume from the Arts University of Bournemouth (2012).
Research supervision
Mimi’s doctoral thesis focuses on graduate employability theory, interdisciplinary study, Global higher education development, and school-enterprise cooperation.
More recently, her research interest, research on 'the third space' project, establishing a university-industry cooperation incubator, is also an ongoing study between higher education institutions and industries.
