Programme Director of BA (Hons) Fashion Design
With more than 20 years’ experience of the fashion industry, and a designer himself, Jason Ansell has recently stepped up from the role of senior lecturer to become Programme Director for BA (Hons) Fashion Design.
Bio
Jason has been the Level 6 year lead of the BA Fashion Epsom for several years and has taken the collection pathway to new heights. In September 2023, for the first time ever, UCA had a spot on the London Fashion Week schedule.
Jason is a highly respected colleague who brings with him his experience not only in higher education, but also in the industry. Jason worked in the industry for 20 years which included time spent in Mauritius leading large design and product teams based in several countries. Jason has extensive experience of both high end and mass market fashion products across New York, Paris and London. Jason's teaching career started after he graduated with an MA from Central Saint Martin’s, London, in 2003. His graduate collection was featured in Vogue and Jason received the British Fashion Council New Gen award.
