Students from across Film, Media and Performing Arts courses in Farnham recently joined the Television Production elective in Immersive Production and were treated to a peek behind the scenes at the BBC.

They were shown around Broadcasting House in London by Farnham alumni Thomas Doukinitsas, who is now a Motion Designer for BBC News.

Produced by Remarkable Entertainment and shot at Maidstone Studios, students on UCA’s TV Production course worked on the show as part of their second-year placement unit.

We caught up with UCA alum and executive creative director for Apple’s Media Arts Lab, Stephen Hancock, who led a workshop with students across the University to explore how he works, and discover how Apple approaches creative problem-solving.

Every year Animation students welcome all creatures great and small to the UCA for a life drawing session.
